What lies behind the eyes? Such a surprise is the spirit. That star that shines from deep inside, yearning for a chance. A plug to stick into the electric current, the power within… To connect to all that’s ever been. We can all be stars. What is our potential and how do we discover the light we are born with and allow it to shine? This is a question that I have been living with while preparing for this exhibit. As I get older I become more aware of the impermanence of life and the thought that when I look back at the end of life what would I regret? I would regret not giving it all I have, not being fully who I can be. This is what this is all about to me. This is my greatest inspiration. Who are we? Can we make the commitment to fully embody ourselves? It takes courage to be who we are, but taking the leap brings us to life. Taking the leap into the darkness requires faith. Stars show us the way and that light glows from within.
