EXHIBITION DATES: October 12th, 2019 – November 23rd, 2019
OPENING RECEPTION and COSTUME PARTY:
Saturday, October 12th – 7:30pm-10:30pm

CALL FOR ARTISTS GUIDELINES
ACCEPTED MEDIA: The exhibition will include work in ANY MEDIA. Work may not exceed 30” inches in any direction. Hanging artwork may not exceed 20lbs.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all artists 18 years and older. Work must be created within the past two years. Work exhibited in prior Volition Gallery exhibitions is not eligible.
FEES: $30 for up to 3 entries. Entry fees are non refundable, and all deadlines are final.
SALES: All work must be for sale. A commission of 35% will be charged on all sales. Price may not be changed from price listed upon submission. All payments of sales will be sent to artist within one month after exhibit has ended.
SUBMISSIONS: All images must be submitted as high res jpg files no larger that file size of 5MB or less. Please name jpgs as follows…”LastName-Title-Medium-Dimensions.jpg”. If accepted into exhibit, these files may be used for marketing purposes and online sales at www.volitionart.com. Please make sure artwork is properly represented during submission.
Payment must be made via paypal to volitiongallery@gmail.com at time of submission for eligibility.
NOTIFICATION: Artists will be notified of acceptance into exhibit via email by approximately September 27th. Specific information will be given regarding which piece or pieces have been accepted.
DELIVERY:
Drop Off: Work must be delivered to Volition Gallery on October 4th, 4pm-7pm and October 5th, 2pm-4pm. All work must remain on exhibition for the duration of the exhibition.
Shipped Work: Shipped work must arrive at Bell-ans Center of Creative Arts 103 S. Greenbush Rd, Orangeburg, NY, 10962, on or before October 4th. All shipped work must include prepaid return shipping label, be trackable, and have appropriate packaging for return of artwork. All work must be finished and completely dried. Wall art must be suitably framed and wired for hanging. Please notify Sona Viola of shipping details at volitionartcalling@gmail.com.
REMOVAL: All work must be removed on November 24th between 3pm - 7pm. If not removed by this deadline, there will be a $35 administrative charge and storage charge of $5 per day. After 30 days, the art including all rights, title and interest of the artist in and to the work, will become the property of Volition gallery.
LIABILITY & INSURANCE: The Curator and Volition Gallery reserves the right to reject any work not accurately represented by the images submitted or not properly prepared for exhibition. Every care will be taken to provide for the safety of all artwork. Entries will be handled with all possible care. Volition Gallery, its officers and agents will not be responsible for any loss, damage of theft of artwork during exhibition. Works will be handled and exhibited at the artist's own risk.
